About Letha 
Letha's interest in fashion started when she was in high school. Her aunt Dale, an extremely talented seamstress and fashion design student at the time, made Letha outfits that stood out from the fad clothing of the day. Letha was particularly amazed at how her aunt transformed basic patterns into unique creations. She became interested in making her own clothes.
Letha took sewing classes and started creating her own designs. When she entered college she knew right away that she wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. The path was slow and she grew antsy. After several career path changes she finally settled into a writing career, or at least she thought she was settled.
On March 5, 2008 Letha watched "Project Runway" for the first time. Her love for fashion returned. Letha eventually bought a sewing machine and a few bundles of fabric, and created her first handbag. And another. And yet another. She had an idea of embellishing a handbag with beads, and within a short period of time Letha had created several jewelry pieces to complement her wardrobe.
In January 2010 Letha made the decision to start her own line of accessories. It was then that Letha Lynea Designs was born. What is Letha's design approach? Her motto says it all: SMART. SENSIBLE. STYLISH. Letha has always enjoyed handcrafted artwork and designs, and has committed herself to create designs from conception to production using only her own hands (along with her trusty sewing machine and small case of tools).
Letha is enjoying herself designing, creating, and sharing. This is a good place for her and she hopes you will enjoy and join her in what she hopes will be a long and glorious ride.
